🎾💚 Our 2026 District Facilities Grant Program is officially complete - and we're celebrating the communities making tennis better in Montana!

Thanks to funding from USTA Intermountain, USTA Montana awarded 100% of its available grant funding through two rounds - helping Schools, Community Tennis Associations, and Parks Departments improve tennis facilities across the state.

🎾🏆 MONTANA IS HEADED TO NATIONALS! 🏆🎾

A HUGE congratulations to Montana’s 65 & Over 6.0 Women’s Team from Health & Wellness Center and Racquet Club in Missoula!

The team captured their division title at the USTA Intermountain 65 & Over Section Invitational, held last weekend in Boise, Idaho, earning their spot at the National Invitational in Surprise, Arizona, January 29–31, 2027! 🌵☀️

👏 Congratulations to Team Captains Terri Ruthruff and Voni Tombari, and teammates Ginni McHugh, Kathleen Bean, Lori Abbott, Marie Lambert, Nancy Bettesworth, Patrisha Crisp, Sandee Andrews, and Shirlee Steiner!

What an incredible accomplishment and another exciting opportunity to represent Montana tennis on the national stage!

We are so proud of this team and can't wait to cheer you on in Arizona! 💚🎾

The 2026 BTA Junior Fall Open is coming up October 23–25 at the Big Sky Pickleball & Tennis Center in Billings!

This is another great opportunity for Montana juniors to get on court, compete, and add some tournament play to their fall schedule. 🍂🎾

We’re excited to share a very special tennis event at Canyons Athletic Club on Friday, October 9 from 5:30–8:30 PM!

The UM Women’s Tennis Team is coming to the Bitterroot for a fun Fast-4 Doubles Fundraiser, and 8 lucky players will get the chance to team up with members of the Lady Griz!

🔥 ONLY 8 PLAYER SPOTS AVAILABLE!
🎾 Each team plays 3 Fast-4 sets
💵 $50 entry fee

🎾💙 Tennis for a great cause in Missoula!

USTA Montana is excited to help spread the word about the Watson Tennis Pro-Am, returning October 8–11, 2026! This longtime Missoula tennis tradition brings the community together for a weekend featuring tennis, clinics, an auction and plenty of fun - all in support of Watson Children’s Shelter.

Watson provides shelter, safety and stability for children, including 24/7 emergency shelter and programs that support children and families throughout our community.

We love seeing the game of tennis used to make an impact beyond the court. Whether you’re playing, attending, bidding, donating or cheering everyone on, this is a wonderful opportunity for Montana’s tennis community to rally behind an important cause. ❤️🎾
