Your kid may have experienced some form of interruption in their life, and you're not quite sure how to help him or her.

Green Flag specializes in mental health services including individual counseling, marriage and family counseling, play therapy, interpersonal trauma, and EMDR. We also provides supervision to counselors seeking to be licensed, training, and consultation. Parenting is one of the most important and tough jobs you'll ever hold in your life and you want some space for your child and for yourself to process the challenges that it brings on. We will help you address your concerns and hopefully normalize your and your child's experience. We also work with adults who have undergone a relational crisis and seek to regain a balance in their life. At Green Flag we focus on two branches of mental health: the relational trauma and the adjustment in the aftermath of it (working with adults) and... rooted in neuroscience play therapy! Play therapy is a modality recognized by SAMHSA and proves to be a powerful intervention used by clinicians worldwide. We use play to model self-regulation and application of strengths in dealing with challenges/ stress. We geek out on neurobiology and we love kids!

I believe in client-guided therapy, taking cues from the individuals I work with in terms of directiveness.
I work from a holistic approach focusing on feminist, trauma-informed solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and bibliotherapy. All persons are welcome in my space, and I look forward to establishing a relationship with any new prospective clients. I have experience working with clients navigating relationship difficulties,

domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression,

grief, self worth, life transitions, and neurodiversity (ADHD/Autism Spectrum

Disorder).

UPDATE: Young Adult Group Therapy has changed to a new start date. Sessions will now start and run from November 7th through December 12th. The group will be 5 weeks with a week off during the Fall break (Thanksgiving holiday). Open to individuals between 18–26 years old.
