I am so impressed with this young violet, grown from a leaf, named Raspberry Crisp. She has been blooming nonstop since transplanted into her own pot and shows good potential for symmetry! Here is the description: Raspberry Crisp (7678) 02/28/1992 (G. Cox/B. Johnson) Semidouble light pink pansy/raspberry ruffled edge. Dark green, quilted, scalloped.

This beauty, grown by one of our members, is called Harmony's 'Pinkstone' Its description is: Double star, lightly frilled, pink with lighter reverse and variable white/green edge. Standard. In looking for more info on this variety, I found a reference to it from AVSA’s website in February of 2022 where they featured it as “Violet of the Day.” According to that blurb, this variety originated as a sport of “Optimara Yellowstone” while being grown in the Harmony greenhouses.

African violets are always so interesting! I’ve had Sea Haze Trail for a couple of years and it has finally decided to bloom after I moved it into natural light. Well - here it is blooming in two distinctly different colors! It is supposed to be a fantasy bloom containing both those colors. Here is the official description: Sea Haze Trail | (C. Sotkiewicz) Double lavender and dark blue fantasy. Medium green, quilted. Semi miniature trailer. I still love it!💜
