The Bay State African Violet Society of Massachusetts is a non-profit organization founded in 1959 for the convenience and benefit of persons wishing to expand their knowledge in the fine technique of growing and propagating African violets [Saintpaulia]. Activities include our annual Spring Flower Show and Sale, which offers many special awards; an annual Dinner Meeting in the fall with a program

presented by a knowledgeable speaker and the opportunity to socialize with other violet enthusiasts. We also publish a quarterly digital magazine, YE BAY STATER.
