Attention VC FOOLS members!!!

We’ve purchased two 3-Day lecture series passes for the 2026 Derby City Fire Conference in Louisville, KY. for a giveaway to our members only!! Presentation schedule is as follows:

8/24: Kyle Romagus
8/25: Curt Isakson, Keith Stakes
8/26: TBA

The conference will be held August 24th, 25th, and 26th from 0800-1700 EST. Special lodging rates from the hosting facility are rated at $99/night. We will NOT be providing lodging for this giveaway. Winners of the raffle are NOT required to attend each day. We only request you communicate which days you’d like to attend so we may send another member in your place.

Requirements:
- Member of the Vette City FOOLS
- Up to date on membership dues

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. May their sacrifice and dedication be a lasting reminder of the courage, selflessness, and freedom they fought to protect.

As we enjoy this weekend with friends and family, hot dogs, and a few cold beers,

remember that for many, this weekend is also a reminder of the cold beers missed, wondering what catching up would have looked like, and reminiscing about the fun times with the ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

To those who live forever in our memories, may we raise a cold one in their honor, say their names, and tell the stories that remind us of the good times.

We will never forget.

We are thankful.

And we are proud to have known the best of the best.

Non-Certified Applicants: New recruits will attend a 12+ week live-in academy (based on academy availability).
