Dear Golden Bridge Community ~

We will not be divided from ourselves and one another. The daily struggles that discourage and distract us, that pull us into despair are not going to dim the flame that shines bright when we gather to create. Working together to make art out of the stories and the struggles, the sweetness and the successes, breeds hope.

We would like to share that hope with you.

Our collaborative creativity on stage is the Golden Bridge way of affirming that we still believe in what humans can do when we orient towards truth, beauty, and one another.

Warriors of the Creative are coming to town!

Sunday, July 26th, 2026 at 7pm at the Unity Church in Boulder.

Golden Bridge’s beloved truth and talent showcase returns, presenting one profound evening of dance, song, poetry, and theatre. Together, we will be pouring prayers for peace.

We hope you will join us!

Warriors of the Creative emerges from decades of moving together as a global community. This year, we will create a show for you in response and in rebellion to these times.

Art as activism. Art for healing. Art to inspire. Art to nourish the soul. Art to build bridges. Art as a prayer.

We will gather just after Surfing the Creative, our rite of passage process that brings together leaders from around the world to cultivate connection through the expressive arts. On one stage will be gifted artists from Latin America, the Middle East, Pan Africa, Australia, and across the United States joining together to share our stories: the challenges faced and the pathways toward peace we are collaboratively creating, inwardly and in the world.

The work is raw, surprising, and filled with pictures of what becomes possible when people orient toward creativity, collaboration, and love.

This is also a fundraiser ... A celebration of the decades of brave and innovative work that Golden Bridge has brought to the world and a means of sustaining the many initiatives born through this body of work.

This long dance is a prayer, a gift of reset, a call to create, a delicious feast in the good company of other women.

We are woven. Let's align with the clarity of mind and warmth of heart that is our natural state so that we can uplift one another. It is too much to go alone.

We are all needed in the garden. Yet, the ground is so dry in the Rockies. Our truths and tears can bring forth the flow that through it all, we can collectively love and grow.

WOMEN UNITED.

Golden Bridges! 🌟🌟🌟

Amidst it all, we must dance.

Emma Goldman’s famous quote, “If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution,” rings so true in these times. Not only do we need to experience the collective joy that can emerge out of the healthy expression of outrage and grief, but we need to keep ourselves resourced as only dance can do.

Dancing helps regulate the nervous system, clear the mind, and condition the heart. Physically strengthening. Psychologically restorative. Spiritually, a feast.

A grounded deep dance can open portals to help heal the past and excavate pictures of what is possible for the future. The invisible becomes so clear as we empty our temples and allow the breath of life to enter. Our benevolent Ancestral helpers become all the more palpable and present as we get out of the way and receive their guidance and blessings.

Not to mention that the dance awakens the healthy will to act with love and focus from that renewed center!

Amidst so much disruption and dysregulation, orienting towards our true north is a blessing and a mandate. We remember that Spring is here in how we show up for life. Even if the weather is orienting towards late Summer in March, moving in balance is a balm and a gift to all of life.

The Earth’s Warning Drum
A Poetic Reflection on Balance, Memory, and the Future

In the beginning
before the noise of empires
before the engines of conquest

the Earth spoke softly.

In the language of rivers.
In the language of wind through tall grass.
In the patient rhythm of seasons
moving like breath.

Our ancestors understood this language.
They called it balance.
They called it Ma’at.
They called it living in right relation
with the seen and the unseen.

They said the Earth
is not merely land beneath our feet.

She is the first mother.

Her mountains are bones.
Her rivers are veins.
Her forests are lungs
breathing life into the world.

And when the balance is broken
she does not remain silent.

She speaks.

Sometimes in whispers—
a shifting wind
a restless ocean
a season that arrives too early
or too late.

But when the warnings are ignored

the whispers become drums.

And now the drum is sounding.

A heat dome
in the month of March.

Snow melting
before spring can even remember its name.

The mountains sweating.
The rivers rushing too soon.
The forests waiting for fire.

This is not only weather.

This is the Earth
calling a meeting
of her children.

The ancestors hear the drum.

They lean across the boundary of worlds
and ask us:

What have you done
with the covenant of creation?

Why have you treated the sacred
as though it were disposable?

Why have you confused profit
with wisdom?

The drum grows louder.

Storms where calm once lived.
Fires where snow once slept.
Heat rising in the wrong season.

The Earth is not seeking revenge.

She is seeking balance.

And balance will come
with us
or without us.

So listen carefully.

The wind carries memory.
The rivers carry warnings.
The forests carry grief.

And the drum
the ancient drum
still echoes across the sky.

Remember who you are.

Remember the covenant.

Remember the Earth.

Before the warnings
become elegies.
