Pastor David Jarrett had a timely word today out of 1 Kings 22. King Ahab decided to go his own way instead of God's way, and it cost him everything. We must seek God's direction for our lives by studying His Holy Word, the Bible, and trusting in the Holy Spirit's guidance. God has the perfect plan for all of us. It is up to us to walk in it or do it our own way. Proverbs 14:12

Sherry and Larry Burns have hit the ground running collecting new bicycles for our annual Spirit Wind Church Toy Drive! We are collecting new toys and new bicycles to be donated to the BPSO Operation Christmas Wish for needy youth in our community. We will be collecting bicycles and toys until December 13th with a goal of at least 40 bicycles! 🚲 A special thanks to Sherry and Larry for getting this year's Christmas Toy Drive started.❤️

Today was very special. Some of our children did a moving drama skit about Jesus forgiving our sins that ministered to all of us. A special thanks to Laura Mitchell for the vision and work with our children to make this drama come to life.❤️ Also, Matthew Jarrett led a prayer for his dad, our pastor, in honor of Pastor Appreciation Sunday. We are so proud of everyone at Spirit Wind Church and how God is using the gifts in His people for HIS GLORY!

Today, especially, we honor our pastor of Spirit Wind Church, Pastor David Jarrett, on this Pastor Appreciation Sunday.❤️ We are blessed to have a pastor who preaches the Bible with conviction and believes in the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor David allows Jesus' love to shine through him for people each day. He has a servant's heart. It is not beneath our pastor to make a pot of coffee, pick up the donuts, mow the church lawn, or do whatever is needed for the church.
Pastor David is a model of what living a Christian life looks like for all of us. He lives by example for us to allow Jesus to work in our lives to make us more like our Father in Heaven, and to reach others for Jesus as part of The Great Commission. We are so proud to call Pastor David our pastor. ❤️ On a day we also remember our founding pastor, Pastor Bobbie, we thank God for all He began and continues to do at Spirit Wind Church. ❤️
Thank you, Pastor David Jarrett, and God bless you, and we will continue to lift you up in our daily prayers!
