I simply do not know how to form words of this week. This week has truly been a gift from god, this week was so special. I truly won the experience of Miss Maryland Volunteer.
This year has truly changed my life in ways I didn't quite know it could but in the best way possible.
Pageantry can truly change you if you let it, it gave me the gift of growing, advocating for myself, confidence, public speaking, and serving others with my heart. I've competed in pageantry for 5 years now, this time being the first time I have ever heard my time be called for top 8, and called for a preliminary award. Words can't describe how thankful I am.
To all the Teens and Miss this year, thank you for being there. I love you guys so so much, the support we gave to one another this week is truly unmatchable, but it's all about the sisterhood. This year's class was one of kind if I must say so. We all celebrated each other. This sisterhood will truly last a lifetime.
To the directors and volunteers of Miss Maryland
Volunteer, thank you for all you do. I truly wouldn't be the version I am today without you guys. To Hannah and Heidi thank you for your support and love, your love to all the contestants is no different than family.
You have gave everyone a breath of fresh air when they didn't know they needed it. Thank you for always being there.
To Martisa - the woman I never knew I needed in my life.
Thank you for being there for me always. For never giving up on me and helping me every step of the way. You truly don't know how much it means to me.
Thank you Washington County for everything you did for me the last 10 months, from every community event, through every connection, and from every partnership your support means the absolute world.
Your Miss Washington County Teen Volunteer signing off.
