HCPJ along with the Immigrant Justice Coalition and the Tempest Collective hosted a community Anti-war/ Peace Picnic at the FARM Cafe today. More than 100 community members attended, enjoyed free Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, home made tamales prepared by the IJC community, listened to music, made buttons, enjoyed kids’ activities, shared ideas about peace and justice, and enhanced our collective resolve to create a world of peace with justice for all. A special thanks to the local Ben and Jerry’s and to FARM Cafe.
