What is Boone 100s Club?
The Boone 100s Club is an opportunity to support our community. All are welcome to participate. Twice a year we get together for a night of giving. Community members donate $100 and receive a chip. They will use their chip to vote later in the program. Each person can donate $100 by themselves, or they can share with their spouse or friend. $100 = 1 chip.
Three charities present a project, “causes”. Each cause has three minutes to present. No power point, visuals or handouts. Just a presenter telling their story. They then can take two minutes to answer questions from the community present. Once all three causes have presented, the community uses their chip to vote for which cause they would like to see win. The cause with the most votes wins the collective of all the donations from the event. This typically lands between $3,000 and $4,000 going to support the cause. The remaining two causes had the opportunity to share their story in front of members of our community and often receive additional support.
The goals of Boone 100’s Club are simple:
1. Promote joyful giving ( the causes are not shared in advance, donors should come for the joy of giving, not to support any particular cause)
2. Support our community causes through gifts and awareness
3. Educate the community on the many great things happening in Boone County
4. Build community
5. Make giving easy. Several $100 gifts add up for a large impact. Imagine if we could get 100, $100 gifts!

4. Boone Free Clinic
5. Downtown Arch
6. Boone Area Humane Society Foundation
Wednesday, October 7th. 6:30pm at the Boone HS auditorium. Program starts promptly at 6:30, arrive early to make your donation. Hope to see you there!!
