West Tapps Maintenance Company The official page of the WTMC. We are a homeowners association, with over 1,400 homeowners strong, located on the west shore of Lake Tapps, WA.

The West Tapps Maintenance Company is a homeowners association, with a little over 1,400 current homeowners. We are comprised of fourteen subdivisions that are located on the west shore of Lake Tapps, Washington, and have been around since 1963. Homes are largely single family residences, with some duplex, condominiums and apartments as well. We have three lake side parks that are available for ou

r members and their guests use. Included in these parks, are a baseball diamond, rustic walking trails, tennis / Pickleball and volleyball courts and a half court basketball court. We also have a boat launch at Jenks Park and picnic tables at all parks. Our parks are generally open between 7 a.m. and sunset. The specific closing time is posted at each park entrance. The opening and closing times vary throughout the year depending on daylight hours, so if you are visiting one of the parks, be sure to note the closing time for the day. Requirements of a WTMC Board Member

Every year, the West Tapps Maintenance Company membership votes to elect board members to serve for a two-year term. This year we are looking for candidates to fill two positions. If you are interested in volunteering for a the WTMC Board of Trustees, please fill out the Nomination form at www.westtappshoa.com. Please review the governing documents and guidelines all board members are expected to uphold.

Nominations will run until September 1st. After, candidates will be invited to an interview with the candidate committee. If accepted as a nominee, the candidates will submit a picture and a short biography for publication on WTMC communication sites. A few weeks before the annual meeting, a meet and greet will be hosted to allow the nomination candidates to introduce themselves to the membership and answer any questions in a panel discussion.

Looks like we have some smoke blowing in and our air quality is about to be very bad!

Just a reminder we do not have the park kids working if the air quality is bad! We know its going to be hot these next few days but be prepared that the parks will not be staffed and the bathrooms will not be open at Jenks if it gets bad!
