On November 1, 2026, our runners will take on 26.2 miles through New York City in support of Child Rescue Coalition’s mission to rescue children from sexual abuse and exploitation!

🚨PARENTS: This Apple update is one you need to know about!

Child Rescue Coalition is rolling out our Screen Smart Summer series to help parents better understand the tools, settings, and conversations that can help keep children safer online.

One important update expected this fall is Apple Child Account, which is designed to help parents manage four key parts of a child’s digital experience:
-What children can see
-Who they can talk to
-When they can access apps
-How parents can guide their digital safety

This includes tools that may help parents choose which apps children can use, approve app downloads, use Ask to Browse before a child visits a new website, decide who children can message, require permission before adding new contacts, set time limits, and monitor screen time more easily.

Child Rescue Coalition applauds Apple’s continued efforts to strengthen parental controls and provide families with more tools to help keep children safer online.

🚨 IN THE NEWS

A federal jury in Florida convicted a 56-year-old man on 11 child exploitation charges, including nine counts of producing child sexual abuse material and two counts of possession.

Investigators discovered more than 10,000 files depicting the sexual abuse of children. Evidence presented at trial showed the offender produced tapes and electronic files depicting the abuse of children, including toddlers and infants, and transported the material from Ohio to Florida.

Every file represents a real child and a real crime. Cases like this underscore the importance of technology, collaboration, and relentless investigative work to identify offenders, protect victims, and hold perpetrators accountable.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation are not crimes confined by borders, neither is the work to identify and stop these crimes.

In our 2025 Annual Report, we’re highlighting the global scope of Child Rescue Coalition’s impact. In 2025, CRC identified predator activity across 199 countries, regions, and territories! These numbers show just how far these threats can reach, and how vital global collaboration is in protecting children. Yet identifying threats is only part of the work.

Through trainings in Brazil, Ecuador, Honduras, Hungary, Japan, and the United States, CRC helped equip law enforcement and investigative partners with the tools and knowledge needed to identify child sexual abuse online.

This is what your support makes possible. The global trainings we are able to hold, law enforcement we are able to teach, identify predators online to make arrests, and most importantly saving children from sexual abuse and exploitation across the globe.

Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) is honored to have partnered with Homeland Security Investigations and host a live stream training and operational sprint attended by over 100 officers from 60 police organizations at CRC headquarters in Boca Raton, FL. Three of the officers were electronic search dogs who provided much appreciated comfort and laughter. During this week-long operation, 381 high harm live stream offenders from 50 states, 1 U.S. territory and 5 countries were identified. The officers reviewed over 3000 leads and 40,000 media files.

This was the first operation of its kind in the United States and the largest live stream operation ever held. CRC has developed and provided new technology to assist a global law enforcement effort under Op Pharos to identify and investigate offenders involved in the trafficking and live stream sexual abuse of children. These offenders are from developed countries, like the United States, who prey on vulnerable children in developing countries and a single offender can victimize hundreds of children from across the globe with just a phone, internet connection, and method of payment.

Live streaming offenses often go undetected and can be difficult to investigate without specialized tools and collaboration between law enforcement and non-government organizations. The backbone of this operational sprint was from the critical work of Homeland Security Investigations. Officers also received intelligence support from OSINT Industries, and Thomson Reuters Special Services.

We also thank Western Union, Block and OSINT Industries for on-site training and Transunion for the use of their facilities. The operation would not have been possible without the generous donations and support by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

🔒 Screen Smart Sunday Tip #1: Check Open Chat Settings

An open chat can open the door to strangers.

Gaming can be fun, social, and creative, but many games also include features like voice chat, private messaging, friend requests, and open communication with other players.

This isn’t about one specific game or app. It’s about understanding who has access to your child online.

Predators often use communication features within games and online platforms to build trust, start conversations, and groom children.

Before your child logs on this week, take a few minutes to review their settings together:

✔️ Who can send messages?
✔️ Who can send friend requests?
✔️ Who can join voice chats?
✔️ Are private messages enabled?

Online safety isn’t about removing every game. It’s about understanding the risks, setting boundaries, and making informed decisions as a family.

This week, Child Rescue Coalition’s CEO, Greg Schiller, presented to more than 90 school resource officers at the NCJTC National School Resource Officer Conference in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Greg shared insight into how CRC technology can serve as a proactive tool to help identify offenders and support investigations that protect children from online exploitation.

The presentation also included a case study from Greg’s time as an Assistant United States Attorney, highlighting the legal and undercover strategies used to track online offenders. That successful prosecution resulted in decades in prison for a longtime offender.

School resource officers play an important role in child protection, prevention, and awareness within their communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to share CRC’s mission and technology with those working every day to help keep students safe!

A Major Step for Child Exploitation Cases 🚨

A new federal measure will fund 200 additional child exploitation investigators and forensic analysts, along with more than $100 million invested in efforts to fight child exploitation and trafficking.

Introduced by Sen. Josh Hawley and supported by Tim Tebow, founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, the measure was signed into law by President Trump.

At Child Rescue Coalition, we know investigators need resources, training, and technology to identify offenders.
