🎉 Introducing Viner Scholar Nicholas! 🎓

Nicholas is heading to the University of Central Florida to major in Finance.

When asked what he’s most looking forward to about college, Nicholas said it best:
“I am looking forward to the new opportunities that college and a new city have to offer. I’m excited to meet new people, join organizations and clubs, and gain experience that will help me grow personally and professionally.”

That mindset is exactly what the Viner Scholar community is all about. We can’t wait to see everything you accomplish, Nicholas, welcome to the Viner Scholars family! 🤩

🎓 Congratulations to Viner Scholar Cristina on her graduation from the University of Florida with a degree in English!

Cristina will be taking a well-deserved semester off before pursuing her Master's in Information Sciences at FSU or USF, and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead!

We loved hearing her reflect on her journey: "Without the Viner Scholars, I am not sure I would be who I am today. Through their financial aid and mentoring (Shoutout Gay Gordon, she’s the best!), I not only managed to navigate through all four years of university but I also had great support that proved beneficial every single year. My mentor, Gay Gordon, proved to not only be my personal cheerleader, but also someone who would ask me the right questions that eventually led me to finding a path on to the perfect career for myself. I am eternally grateful for the aid from the Viners and I could not thank them enough. I went from a fearful high school senior facing a brand new world to a college graduate eager to learn about the world! What a crazy fast four years it has been!"

On Sunday, we had the honor of welcoming our newest class of Viner Scholars at our annual awards ceremony, and this year was one for the record books! 🎉 We proudly awarded a record-breaking 54 new scholarships, and we couldn't be more excited about the bright futures ahead.

🎓 Congratulations, Nylah!

Viner Scholar Nylah just crossed the finish line at Florida State University, earning her degree in Public Health with a minor in Psychology. She's now setting her sights on a career that puts her education to work.

Nylah shared: "I am very grateful for being a Viner Scholar and the check-ins to keep me updated on my progress."

🎓Congratulations to Viner Scholar Aaliyah! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate Aaliyah, who just graduated Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and a B.A. in English, Creative Writing — two degrees, zero debt. ✨

Next up: Aaliyah joins Walmart as a Senior Analyst in their Merchandising Development Program. The future is bright!

In Aaliyah's own words:
"Being a Viner Scholar has meant the world to me. Beyond allowing me to graduate with two degrees debt-free, I've found the most amazing support system between the Viners family, volunteers, students, and especially my mentor. Now as I'm leaving the program as a student and into alum, I can only hope that I can give back as much as I received from this program in mentoring my own student!"

🎓✨ Congratulations, Viner Scholar Ben-Gina!

She just graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a B.S. in Political Science and African American Studies, and this fall, she'll be making history as the first person in her family to attend law school in America, at Mercer School of Law! 🙌🏾⚖️

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and a proud first-generation college student, Ben-Gina has poured her heart into every step of this journey. She's taken on leadership roles, stayed committed to her community, and founded her own nonprofit, Dieu Bay, with a dream of building a school in Haiti. 🇭🇹❤️

In her own words:

"The Viner Scholarship means so much to me because it gave me the support I needed to focus on school and grow into who I am today... This scholarship helped me financially and opened doors for my future. I am truly grateful for the belief and support from Viners that helped shape my journey. Eda & Cliff Viner Foundation, I love you."

🎓 Congratulations to Viner Scholar Daylerh!

Daylerh has graduated from the University of Florida with a double major in Finance and Economics and a minor in Wealth Management, and he didn't stop there. He passed the CFP® exam before graduation and mastered Python for financial modeling.

Now Daylerh will be starting his role as a Financial Planning Resident at Cornerstone Wealth Advisors and has been accepted into the Master's in Accounting program at Nova Southeastern University. 🌟

In Daylerh's own words:

"The Viner Scholarship was more than just financial support; it was a vote of confidence in my potential. It allowed me to focus intensely on my rigorous double major and professional certifications without the constant weight of financial stress. Being part of a community that values education and professional growth motivated me to push further... I am incredibly grateful for the foundation the Viner Scholars program provided as I transition into my professional career."

🎓 Congratulations to Viner Scholar Amelia! 🎉

Amelia just graduated from the University of Florida a full year early with a degree in Criminology! 🐊✨

But she's not slowing down! Amelia will be heading to Florida State University to pursue her Master's in Criminal Justice Studies, with her sights set on a career in law enforcement at a sheriff's office. The future is bright! 🌟

In her own words:
💬 "The Viners Scholarship meant everything to me. I had peace of mind throughout all of college knowing I would not have to worry about any debt and that I had no boundaries to my learning. I felt overwhelmed with the amount of care and support this scholarship has given me as well as the wonderful people provided to me. I am beyond grateful for this scholarship and all the resources it has brought to me. It has opened an endless amount of doors and also knowledge I can keep with me forever!"
