Operation Christmas Child Launch Day is HERE at St. Andrews Estates! 🎄 🎅 ⛄

On Sunday, October 11, we officially kicked off another exciting Operation Christmas Child season during both chapel services! We were honored to welcome Terrance McGuire and partners from Grace Community Church in Boca Raton and Calvary Chapel West Boca as we celebrated our shared mission of bringing joy, hope, and God’s love to children around the world.

Did you know? St. Andrews Estates Operation Christmas Child tradition was started by an resident who is now 103 years old and she’s still inspiring us today! What an incredible legacy of faith and generosity!

This year, we’re inviting residents, team members, and families to join us as we work toward our goal of 200 shoeboxes! 🎁 ❄️

Here’s how you can participate:
1) Pack a shoebox.
2) Donate items in bins located at either the North or South campus of St. Andrews Estates.

4) Join St. Andrews Estates Community Packing Party on November 14th.

🌊🎨 Residents at St. Andrews Estates and WillowBrooke Court spent time together creating a beach-themed craft that brought a little summer sunshine indoors. A fun afternoon of creativity, conversation, and connection!

During National Fire Prevention Week, residents from St. Andrews Estates had the opportunity to visit Boca Raton Fire Rescue Station 5 and thank the dedicated first responders who serve our community. 🚒 ❤️

Residents enjoyed a tour of the station, learned about the many roles firefighters and paramedics play each day, and delivered a goody basket as a small token of appreciation.

A special thank you to the crew at Fire Station 5, our community bus driver Antonio, and all the brave men and women who serve the Boca Raton area. We are grateful for your dedication, teamwork, and commitment to keeping our community safe.

🦋 🍂 Independent Living Residents at St. Andrews Estates have enjoyed spending time with WillowBrooke Court residents through a variety of activities this season. From creating summer and fall-themed crafts together to gathering in the courtyard for a beautiful butterfly release, these shared experiences have been filled with creativity, connection, and plenty of smiles.

☕ 🤎 On September 29, St. Andrews Estates celebrated National Coffee Day with a special treat from our Culinary Team! Residents enjoyed a Creamy Mocha Cold Coffee, a delicious blend of coffee, chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and mocha drizzle. 🍫

Lodge Night brought all the cozy comforts of fall to St. Andrews Estates! 🍂 🍁

We transformed the dining room into an autumn-inspired lodge and treated residents to a menu filled with seasonal favorites, from butternut squash soup in bread bowls and individual chicken pot pies to cabernet short ribs, cranberry brie-crusted salmon, and pumpkin apple strudel.

These pop-ups are always such a fun opportunity for our Culinary team to step outside of our everyday dining experience and create something special for our residents. A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the vision to life from the menu and preparation to all the little details that made the room feel like fall! 🤎
