Tomorrow, we're gathering online for a special conversation with the Haitian Christian Mission team, and you are invited.

🌟 Seven-year-old Noulialie has a dream. 🌟

She wants to become a teacher.

Her favorite subject is reading, and she loves playing with her friends at school. But what she remembers most about school isn't a particular lesson or assignment. It's her teacher.

"My first-grade teacher was like a mother to me," Noulialie shared. "She always asked me how I was doing and how life was at home."

For Noulialie, school is more than a place to learn. It is a place where caring adults encourage her, care about her life, and remind her that she has a future.

This is why Christian education matters.

And this is why we're raising $75,000 by September 15 to prepare HCM's schools across Haiti for the upcoming school year.

💒 What if a church could be more than a place to worship on Sunday? 💒

In many Haitian communities, the church becomes a place where people find hope, food, education, encouragement, prayer, and practical help.

A pastor may preach on Sunday, and then spend the week caring for families, visiting the sick, encouraging young people, helping those in need, and sharing the Gospel.

That's why we believe strengthening the local church can impact an entire community.

📚 Every future begins somewhere 📚

For seven-year-old Noulialie, it begins in a classroom at HCM's school in Fonds-Parisien.

Noulialie loves to read, and when she grows up, she wants to become a teacher. But for her family, staying in school isn't always easy. Her mother does not have a job, and there are days when meeting the family's basic needs is a challenge.

Still, Noulialie keeps learning.
She has teachers who encourage her, classmates who learn alongside her, and a school where she is reminded that she is loved by God.

This fall, Haitian Christian Mission is raising $75,000 by September 15 to strengthen our ten Christian schools and provide the resources students and teachers need.

Your gift can help provide meals, books, uniforms, classroom supplies, teacher support, school improvements, and youth programs.

🪑💛 Thank You for Helping Build a Place to Gather! 💛🪑

One special project is happening in Thoman, where new benches are being built to provide more seating for the growing church community. ⛪

We are especially thankful for the partnership of Thompson Falls Christian Church, whose generous support is helping make these new benches possible. What may seem like a simple repair or improvement is actually creating more space for people to gather, worship, fellowship, and hear the Word of God. 🙏🏾

As the church in Thoman continues to grow, these benches will help make room for the people God is bringing through the doors.

🙏🏾 Please Pray for Our Upcoming Spiritual Activities 🙏🏾

In the coming days, our churches in Chapotin, Courette, and Belladère will be gathering for special spiritual activities focused on worship, prayer, fellowship, and growing closer to God. ⛪ 📖

We invite our HCM family to join us in praying for these gatherings.

🙏🏾 Pray for safety for everyone traveling to and attending these events.
🙏🏾 Pray for God's presence to be felt throughout each gathering.
🙏🏾 Pray for the pastors and leaders as they prepare and minister.
🙏🏾 Pray that hearts will be open and that those who attend will be drawn into a deeper relationship with Christ.
🙏🏾 Pray for unity and encouragement within each church community.

In Haiti, gathering together for worship is not something we take for granted. We are grateful for every opportunity our churches have to come together, encourage one another, and proclaim the hope we have in Christ. 💛

Please join us in covering Chapotin, Courette, and Belladère in prayer. We believe God can use these gatherings to strengthen His people and bring hope to their communities.

Sometimes ministry looks like something wonderfully simple...

💙 A child laughing during a game.
🎨 A skit performed with confidence.
🎵 Singing at the top of their lungs.
🌳 Learning how to care for God's creation by planting trees.

For many children in Haiti, opportunities like these are rare. But this summer, over 600 students experienced the joy of Vacation Bible School, a place where they could discover their God-given talents, build friendships, and be reminded that they are deeply loved by God.

Thank you for giving these children the chance to simply be kids while growing in their faith.

Your generosity is creating memories that will last far beyond the summer.

🙏🏾🇭🇹 Please Pray for Haitian Families 🇭🇹🙏🏾

Many Haitian families here in the United States are facing a season of uncertainty surrounding the current Temporary Protected Status (TPS) situation. For families directly affected, there are questions about what the future may hold, and the weight of that uncertainty is very real.

As a ministry connected to communities in both Haiti and the United States, we know that these circumstances affect more than individuals; they affect families, churches, communities, and relationships.

Today, we're simply asking our HCM family to pray.

🙏🏾 Pray for peace for those who are anxious about the future.
🙏🏾 Pray for protection over Haitian families.
🙏🏾 Pray for wisdom and Divine direction as families make difficult decisions.
🙏🏾 Pray for families who may face separation or significant changes.
🙏🏾 Pray for wisdom for our HCM leadership as we consider how these circumstances may affect our ministry and the people we serve in Haiti.

We are not here to take a political position. We simply want to stand with people in a difficult season and bring their needs before God.

Whatever the days ahead may bring, we trust that God is present, faithful, and able to provide a way forward.
