We don’t want kids simply to memorize words and repeat them.

We want them to understand what they’re saying, wrestle with Jewish ideas, ask questions, and have something of their own to say.

A B’nai Mitzvah should sound like your child, not like a script.

Start imagining a B’nai Mitzvah experience that feels like your child. Schedule a welcome call: https://niboca.org/welcome-call/

The Torah Boss is all about a different kind of Torah learning.

Instead of memorizing one answer, kids get to ask questions, hear different perspectives and decide what they think.

This week’s debate comes from Noach. The Torah calls Noah “righteous in his generation.”

Was that a huge compliment? Or was the Torah quietly telling us that Noah only looked good compared to everyone around him?

Which side are you on?

Hebrew. Music. Torah stories. Movement. Questions. Creativity. Friendship.

Kids don’t have to choose between having fun and learning something meaningful.

At Neshamah, joy is part of how we teach, not an extra added on at the end.

Spark #2 of 18 Sparks for Shabbat explores a powerful teaching from the Talmud about who Shabbat is really for.

What do you find most beautiful about Judaism?

For Lorin, it’s the connection to Jewish people across generations and around the world. Studying Torah and saying the same prayers that Jewish people have shared for thousands of years creates a connection that she can carry with her wherever she goes.

We’ll explore the quieter moments, minor characters, and strange details of the Torah that rarely make it into services or Hebrew School. All levels and backgrounds are welcome.

Our first session is Wednesday, October 14 from 12:00 to 1:15 PM. Join us in person at Rabbi Amy’s home or online. Tuition is $180 for the series.
