Author Study: The Whimsical World of Laura Numeroff Explore the playful, cause-and-effect world of Laura Numeroff. Students examine her circular plots, lively characters, and humorous patterns through read-alouds and discussion. They identify themes, analyze illustrations, and write their own “If You Give…” stories to build sequencing and cause-and-effect skills.

Behavior Mastery (Heart-Centered Classroom Management) by Ron Shuali Behavior Mastery is a research-informed, brain-based social-emotional system that helps adults master themselves first to create Win-Win environments for children. Through real-life videos, partner activities, breathwork, and playful practice, participants learn 5 transformative tools to reduce resistance, interrupt attention-seeking, and empower strong-willed, neurodivergent students as leaders.

Author Study: The Imaginative Life and Works of Shel Silverstein Students explore Shel Silverstein’s poems and illustrations through reading and discussion. They analyze his humor, rhyme, and themes of kindness and imagination, then create original poems inspired by his distinctive style.

Teach & Sign: The Complete Program for Preschool Classrooms (Ages 3-5) This session equips Family Child Care professionals with practical strategies to embed sign-enhanced learning into daily routines. Participants learn to use American Sign Language to support social-emotional skills, classroom management, transitions, storytelling, and early literacy for preschoolers. All to create calmer environments, clearer communication, and stronger school readiness.
