At Boca School for Autism, every student is provided with an individualized education, building on their strengths, and addressing their needs. Our program utilizes a transdisciplinary approach incorporating applied behavior analysis (ABA), relationship-based education, language/communication therapy, and occupational therapy, infusing sensory strategies throughout the school day. Our evidence-bas

ed and emerging best practice curriculum is provided through Universal Design for Transition programming, so that all students, regardless of ability level, learn to relate academics to necessary life skills. The small teacher-to-student ratio and teaching expertise enable and empower students to grow academically and socially. Our goal is to teach each student the skills and behaviors necessary to reach their goals and to become independent adults who can participate and contribute meaningfully to their community, home life and social activities.

For children with autism, interacting with animals provides an invaluable opportunity for pressure-free connection and comfort. 💙

These interactions encourage communication, emotional regulation, confidence and social engagement in ways that feel natural and rewarding for the child. 😄

Yesterday, our students participated in a hands-on Equine Therapy experience, where they spent time petting, caring for and walking alongside these beautiful horses. 🐴 🧒

Thanks to the Florida Atlantic Police Department, our students got to leave their colorful handprints on a local police car, each one representing acceptance, inclusion and support. 🚓
