Recently at Changing Lives, the Department of Health joined us to provide free HIV testing for our clients during our outreach efforts.

Access to health resources is an important part of helping people move forward with dignity, care, and support. We are grateful for community partners who show up, serve, and help connect our clients with services that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

We are incredibly grateful to Oceanside Church for their generosity and support during a recent Saturday Morning Outreach Mission. Through their kindness, they purchased and donated lunch from Pollo Tropical for our clients, helping us serve our community with care, compassion, and dignity.

Acts of kindness like this make a real difference, and we are thankful to partner with people and organizations who share our heart for helping others.

Saturday Morning Outreach is about more than meals, clothing, and resources. It is about coming together in faith, compassion, and community. 🙏

This week, our outreach circle paused for a heartfelt prayer, lifting up everyone gathered, giving thanks for the strength to make positive decisions, and asking for protection, guidance, and healing over those who are part of the Changing Lives family.

Moments like this remind us why this mission matters. Every person deserves dignity, hope, and the chance to take the next step forward.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice reminds us of the true meaning of courage, service, and commitment to something greater than ourselves.

As we reflect this Memorial Day, Changing Lives also remains committed to serving unhoused veterans and others in our community with dignity and compassion. We are currently in need of towel donations to help provide showers and basic care for those who need it most.

From all of us at Changing Lives, we extend our deepest gratitude to the fallen heroes and their families. May we continue to lead with compassion, gratitude, and hope.

Meet Wendy. 💙

Wendy is an active Changing Lives client who came into our office today during a very difficult season. After recently losing her transportation and a stable place to stay, our team was able to provide her with a donated bike to help her get around and continue taking steps forward.

Because Wendy has been staying connected to Changing Lives and following our Pillars of Transformation, we were also able to help her move into one of our transitional rooms, giving her a safe place to rest, reset, and receive the support she needs as she works toward stability.

This is what Changing Lives is all about: meeting people where they are, walking with them through hard moments, and helping create a pathway toward hope, healing, and a fresh start.
