At Changing Lives, we believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare and the opportunity for a healthier future.

We were grateful to welcome Dr. Eunice Yakubu and fellow PGY2 residents from the Florida Department of Health Residency Program, who provided essential health screenings to individuals in our community, including testing for HIV, syphilis, and Hepatitis B.

These important services help break down barriers to healthcare while supporting our mission of moving individuals from homelessness to hope.

During our Saturday Morning Outreach Mission, Changing Lives volunteers help provide people in need with everyday essentials, including clothing, personal care items, meals and compassionate support.

The Monster Dash 5K is about more than crossing the finish line — it’s about raising awareness, supporting vital programs, and helping our neighbors move toward stability and independence.

A powerful moment at our recent Compassionate Care Outreach Mission. 💙

Changing Lives client Johnny Parker stood before the group and recited all 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous from memory.

It was a meaningful reminder of the courage, commitment, and personal growth that can come with taking recovery one day at a time.

💙 Meet Fay.

Fay is a Changing Lives client, and we’re walking alongside her with compassion, dignity, and practical support.

Recently, our team spent time helping Fay with some personal care, providing new clothing and other essentials, and taking her out for a warm meal. Sometimes changing a life starts with simple acts of kindness — helping someone feel cared for, seen, and valued.

We’re continuing to work with Fay and support her as she moves forward, one step at a time.
