Since 2017, Sasha and I have had the privilege of adopting this family for Christmas.
Year after year, we show up with gifts — and every year, we leave with something far greater.

These photos span the years. Kids growing up. Life changing. Milestones celebrated.

Along the way, we’ve been lucky enough to share more than holidays, even life’s biggest moments.

They are the sweetest, most close-knit family. And every year, they pray for us. 🤍

I love reading community service reflections when I have to sign off on Service hours. This week, I received two gems — from a 9th grader and his 12th grade sister who both volunteered through our Adopt-A-Family program. 💛🎁
Their words were thoughtful and kind. They wrote about reading family stories, searching for the perfect gifts, coordinating with case managers, wrapping presents, and delivering everything with love. But what struck me most was what they learned:
✨ the meaning of anonymous giving
✨ how much effort goes into caring for others
✨ how powerful it feels to brighten a family’s holiday
These two siblings captured the heart of our mission — generosity, empathy, and seeing beyond themselves. I’m so proud of them and grateful for every young person choosing to make the world a little kinder. 💕🌍

We are honored to share the heartfelt student letters and teacher thank-you notes arriving from the DonorsChoose classroom projects Touch A Heart funded this school year. ❤️📚✂️🚌✏️

Through your support, we invested over $3,000, which—combined with match funding—delivered nearly $6,000 in critical classroom resources to educators in Title I schools across South Florida.

We are looking for a group (teens or adults or combo) to "adopt" a daycare in Broward County on behalf of Touch A Heart. We have had so many requests for sponsorship and need more volunteers to help! Details:
You will receive a list of wishes from the organization
Shop and wrap and label gifts for the kids
Bring them to the organization on a mutually picked date and throw a little party for the kids.
Touch A Heart will reimburse for the shopping.

The Adopt-A-Family holiday program connects local families in need with sponsors through Touch A Heart, bringing comfort and joy during a challenging season. By choosing a family, you’ll have the chance to provide them with thoughtful gifts and a holiday meal.
Each family is carefully selected by our Community Partners—trusted local nonprofits in South Florida—ensuring that your generosity reaches those with the most significant needs.
Feel free to team up with a friend or colleague to adopt a family together. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience, knowing you’re brightening the holiday season for children who might otherwise go without. Best of all, you’ll have the unique opportunity to meet the family you’re supporting, sharing in the joy your kindness brings.
There are 2 ways to "adopt":
(A) Choose a family on Roonga www.Roonga.com/TAHadoptions2025 and purchase, wrap and deliver the gifts to your "adopted" family (or to their caseworker). NEW FAMILIES WILL BE ADDED AS THEY COME IN
(B) MONETARY DONATION ONLY. Touch A Heart volunteers will shop, wrap and deliver gifts to families on your behalf. You can sponsor a family of 5 for as little as $500 - but any donation amount is most appreciated and will be used towards fulfilling the wishlist of a family in need.

This week I was humbled to be recognized by the American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) as a Community Caregiver Honoree alongside the incredible Sherrye Sammons
For the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of leading Touch A Heart Foundation — a small but mighty all-volunteer organization that helps meet the needs of local children and families in crisis. Whether it’s through backpacks, holiday gifts, or our annual Spa Day fundraiser, I’m constantly reminded that compassion and community truly make a difference.
This award reflects the love and generosity of everyone who has supported Touch A Heart — our volunteers, donors, partners, and my family who have stood by me through every project, late night, and event day. 💜
Thank you, Connie T. Siskowski, Jeffrey Gordon , Amoy and everyone at AACY, for this incredible honor and for the work you do to lift up caregiving youth across South Florida. Together, we’re proving that when people care, change happens.

Thank you everyone who participated in the Men’s Gift Drive to benefit American Association of Caregiving Youth! ❤️ I’m excited that they will be able to start off the holiday season with enough items for men to choose from. We received shave and skincareare kits, heating pads, flashlights, electric razors, book bags, shorts, massage guns, water bottles, hair trimmers, wireless speakers, headlamps, sunglasses, watches, and headphones!! 👏👏👏
