A Prayer for Protection, Justice & Family Covering
Father God, in Jesus’ name, I bring my family before You. You see what I can’t see. You know every plot, scheme, lie, hidden conversation, and evil intention against us.
Lord God, I forgive those who have hurt us, betrayed us, lied on us, or desired our harm. Even if they’re family, I release them to You. I refuse to carry hatred, bitterness, or revenge in my heart. Your Word says, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay” (Romans 12:19).
Father God, deal with every person according to Your righteousness. Convict those who can be convicted. Turn their hearts toward You. But if they continue choosing evil, I place them completely in Your hands and ask You to remove their ability to harm my family.
Your Word says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
So I declare:
⚔️Every weapon formed against my family shall fail.
⚔️Every hidden plot shall be exposed.
⚔️Every lie spoken against us shall fall to the ground.
⚔️Every trap set for us shall catch the one who designed it, according to Your justice (Psalm 7:15-16).
Lord God, “frustrate the plans of the wicked” (Psalm 146:9). Break every assignment against my household. Shut every door that evil is trying to use. Surround my family with Your protection. Your Word says You are “a shield around me” (Psalm 3:3). Be our shield.
Be our refuge. Be our defender.
Father God, if anyone is genuinely seeking our destruction, I place them into Your hands. Deliver us from evil and let Your justice deal with what I cannot deal with. I refuse to become what has come against me. I choose forgiveness. I choose obedience. I choose peace. And I trust You to handle the battle.
You said, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:14).
So I declare over my family:
WE ARE COVERED. WE ARE PROTECTED.
WE ARE PRESERVED. NO WEAPON WILL PREVAIL. NO PLOT WILL STAND. NO CURSE WILL OVERRIDE YOUR BLESSING. NO EVIL PLAN WILL HAVE THE FINAL WORD.
Every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Every scheme of darkness, expose it. Every trap, destroy it. Every attack, stop it. Every assignment of destruction, cancel it according to Your will.
Father God, save whoever can still be saved. Convict whoever needs conviction. Correct whoever needs correction. And where someone has completely surrendered themselves to evil, let Your righteous judgment and Your protection stand between them and my family.
I declare Psalm 91 over this household. We dwell under the shadow of the Almighty.
You’re our refuge and fortress. No terror will overtake us. No plague will come near our dwelling. Your angels are assigned concerning us. We belong to You. Our children belong to You. Our home belongs to You. Our future belongs to You. And what You have blessed, no enemy has the authority to curse. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
