We had a fun, successful night at the Damascus Old Mill. We want to thank the staff for an amazing night!! See everyone bright and early in the morning at the park next to the Old Mill!! 5k starts at 8am, opening ceremonies at 8:30am, and bike ride at 10:30am!! 🚲

The Creeper Trail Ride to End Cancer is a Non-profit Event raising much needed funding for rare cancer research. The money raised goes towards the Penny F Garrett Sarcoma Foundation which donates 100% of proceeds to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

Head on over TONIGHT to the Damascus Old Mill to kick-off CTREC 2025 from 6-9pm!!

Dig into interactive food stations, place winning bids at the silent auction, listen to the live music by James Meadows, and brace yourself for an amazing fireworks show by Manuel Fireworks.

Tickets will be $35 in advance bought via our website or $40 at the door.
$10/children ages 5-9 years old
FREE/children ages 4 and under
ABC on and off for additional cost

Thursday, July 24
- Damascus Farmers Market at a NEW! temporary location at The Speckled Trout Outfitters lot across from Appalachian Heritage Distillery & Brewery. Come by the Farmers Market 4 to 7pm for local produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, craft items, and more!
- Night Swim at the Damascus Town Pool, note adjusted hours of 4 to 10pm for this Thursday.
- Line dancing with Caitlin at Appalachian Heritage Distillery & Brewery at 6pm - UPDATE: Canceled for 7/24
- Trivia Night at The Tipsy Bear at 6pm

Friday, July 25
- Fish Fry-Day lunch and dinner specials at The dairy king and The Damascus Diner
- Free Bike Repair at the Damascus Trail Center, 1 to 4pm
- Live music by Sawyer Mullins at Appalachian Heritage Distillery & Brewery at 5:30pm
- C-TREC Kick-Off Event at the Damascus Old Mill Inn, 6 to 9pm, with dinner, silent auction, and live music. Fireworks at 9:30pm. Get tickets in advance or at the door.
- Live music by Jay Dee at The Tipsy Bear at 7pm

Saturday, July 26
- C-TREC at Laurel Creek Park: 5K race at 8am, Cancer Survivor Gathering at 8am, Opening Ceremonies at 8:30am.
- C-TREC Walk: Meet at the stage next to the Old Mill at 9:45am
- C-TREC Bike Ride: Shuttles depart at 10:30, reserve in advance.
- Trail work with Mt Rogers Appalachian Trail Club (MRATC)
- Christmas in July behind One Way Ministries with free gifts, new and gently used items, 10am to 2pm
- Karaoke Night at The Tipsy Bear at 7pm

Sunday, July 27
- Bloody Mary Bar at The Tipsy Bear, 11am to 3pm
- Back Porch Sundays at the Damascus Old Mill Inn with live music by Jamie Collins at 4pm
