Girard Lake Park restoration project moving forward. Great day clearing buckthorn, creating dead hedges, and prepping for summer plant (as a Nine Mile grant was received. Yay!!)
This summer we will be doing events monthly on:
- first Sundays (1-4)
- second Saturdays (9-noon)

Sunday (May 3) is looking great for the next Girard Lake Park restoration event. Between 1:00pm - 4:00pm, we will be cutting and piling (including creating dead hedges) buckthorn and honeysuckle, as well as preparing some areas for planting this summer. Gloves encouraged, tools provided.
