Minnesota 4 Wheel Drive Association We are a non-profit group that works to protect user rights and educate the public.

The Minnesota Four Wheel Drive Association is actively working with the Minnesota Legislature to advance and protect four-wheeling opportunities. The Association contracts an independent government relations specialist, Dan Larson, to formally lobby the members of the Minnesota legislature to pass bills for positive off-road opportunities and to vote against negative ORV* legislation. Volunteers o

n the legislative committee work closely with the lobbyist and also spend time attending and testifying at legislative hearings in support of off-road vehicles. The most important part of legislative involvement is at the grass roots level. Members of the Minnesota Four Wheel Drive Association are constantly encouraged to contact their legislators regarding off-road vehicle legislation. We work to inform our membership about what is currently happening to issue urgent messages to contact legislators

During the last few years, the political battles over land usage has intensified drastically and requires more and more efforts to obtain and retain wheeling opportunities and access for ORVs.

🎡 CRTU at the Minnesota State Fair!

A big thank you to the Coalition of Recreational Trail Users (CRTU) and the volunteers spending time at the Minnesota State Fair representing Minnesota’s motorized recreation community.

Together, MN4WDA, ATV Minnesota, ARMCA and MN USA are working to promote responsible recreation, protect trail access, and educate the public about the importance of Minnesota’s motorized trail systems.

🚧 TRAIL MAINTENANCE THIS WEEKEND — MILLE LACS ORV PARK 🚧

MN4WDA crews will be working on trail maintenance and improvements throughout the park this weekend.

🚜 Work includes:
• Heavy equipment in the Playground Area
• Trail stabilization
• Rock hauling and placement
• General trail maintenance

⚠️ Please use extra caution around work areas, give equipment and volunteers plenty of room, and watch for temporary closures or reroutes.
