The designer call is officially OPEN for RECLAIMED 2026: Renaissance Runway 🪩

We are looking for creative, passionate designers who are ready to transform Goodwill-sourced materials into elevated looks that celebrate confidence, versatility, and transformation. This year's runway theme is Workforce Ready Wear: Capsule Closet.

This is your opportunity to:
✦ Showcase your work on a runway
✦ Be part of a mission-driven fashion experience
✦ Connect with the Birmingham creative and philanthropic community
✦ Contribute to fundraising efforts supporting Goodwill's workforce development programs

We will select a limited number of designers for this year's show. Designers will also have the opportunity to style a Goodwill program participant for the runway — a powerful moment of connection to build someone's confidence through fashion.

Event Date: August 26, 2026
Event Time: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Events at Haven | Birmingham, AL

To honor the memory of those who sacrificed all for our freedom, our stores and donation centers will close early at 4:00 PM today.

It’s good to be in the Marble City! 💙

A huge thank you to the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce and community for the warm welcome.

Rain or shine didn’t stop the thrift hunt one bit! We had an amazing day filled with:
- Giveaways from Pelican's SnoBalls Sylacauga and Pizza Hut
- A store packed with incredible finds!
- A Goodwill cookout complete with ice cream donated by Blue Bell Ice Cream and sweet soda treats from Sprouts & Sips!

Special shoutout B’s Bash Co. for the wonderful decor.🎈

We are excited for what the future holds as we expand our mission services to the Sylacauga area. Thank you to SylacaugaNews.com and Daily Home Newspaper, Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, this community has already shown us so much love, and we can’t wait to grow together!
