Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day in the park celebrating all things huckleberry, local community, and summer in the Gorge. And don’t forget to kick off Saturday morning with the Bingen Fire Department’s Pancake Breakfast!

Summer may be winding down, but there’s still time to squeeze in some epic whitewater adventures!

Did you know Bingen, Washington sits at the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, surrounded by spectacular scenery, incredible food and wine, small-town charm, and endless opportunities to get outside?

Take a half-day rafting trip down the Little White Salmon, where blue-green glacial water winds through a canyon carved by a collapsed lava tube. Paddle through 7.5 miles of continuous Class III-IV rapids, passing hidden caves and lush hanging gardens of moss and flowers. Thrill seekers can even take on an optional 12-foot waterfall.

Columbia River Outdoors whitewater season runs through the first week of October, so before summer slips into fall, plan a Gorge getaway with Bingen at the center of it all.
