Looking for some fun in the sun?! Use Bingen as your basecamp for one of the most unforgettable rides in the Columbia River Gorge 🚴

The Klickitat Trail begins just down the road in Lyle and winds through wildflower-covered hills, oak groves, pine forests, remote canyon country, and sweeping river views that feel bigger with every mile.

Mid-spring through early summer is the sweet spot to ride, when the flowers are blooming and the rivers and creeks are running full. The route follows an old railroad corridor alongside the nationally designated Wild and Scenic Klickitat River before climbing into the wide-open landscapes of the Goldendale Plateau.

Expect gravel, adventure, and plenty of moments that make you stop just to take it all in.

A few ride tips 👇🏻
• Wider tires are recommended for the rugged railroad-grade gravel
• Bring a red blinky light for the Centerville Highway section
• Water and restrooms are available at the Lyle trailhead
• Please respect private property and stay on trail
