Harvest season is nearly wrapped up in the Columbia River Gorge!

As the last grapes come off the vines, we’re highlighting one of the incredible women behind our region’s w**e scene—Teddi Fuller of lushington w**e project 🍇

Perched in the hills above Lyle, Washington, Hi Hill Vineyard has been part of the Columbia Gorge w**e landscape since its first vines were planted in 1978. At 1,888 feet in elevation, this organically farmed vineyard is home to old-vine Pinot Noir and Riesling, along with Pinot Meunier, and produces grapes with exceptional minerality and natural acidity, ideal for sparkling w**e.

LUSHINGToN WINES is truly a one-woman show—from tending the vines and harvesting grapes to making the w**e and designing the labels.

Teddi's sparkling and still w**es are crafted to showcase the unique character of the vineyard, with balance, energy and a true sense of place.

As another Gorge harvest comes to a close, we’re celebrating the hardworking growers and w**emakers who make our little corner of Washington such an exciting w**e destination.

Golden hillsides, crisp mornings, changing leaves along the Columbia River and trains rolling through… 🍂🚂

If you’re planning a fall trip to the Gorge, slow down and spend some time exploring Bingen and the beautiful drive along Highway 14.

Grab a coffee at Uplifted Coffee, wander the local shops downtown, head out for a hike, then spend the afternoon tasting your way through Gorge w**e country at Syncline Winery, COR Cellars and Domaine Pouillon Winery. 🍷

At Domaine Pouillon, grab a bite from the bistro and settle in on the deck to watch the trains roll by along the Columbia River.

Watching the trains is #35 on our Top Things to Do in Bingen list, and there’s plenty more where that came from!

And to make your fall getaway even better? Stay the night at Society Hotel and end the day with a long soak in the spa.

There’s a new piece of Bingen history at the heart of town ⚓️

Our new roundabout features a retired steel boat donated by SDS Lumber, a nod to the lumber industry that helped build Bingen and shaped the community we know today.

The boat once had a very different job. It was used to push logs around the sawmill storage pond, keeping them wet until they were ready for processing. When an updated sprinkler system eliminated the need for the boats, one found a new purpose: preserving a piece of Bingen’s story.

Next time you roll through town, keep an eye out for our newest landmark. A little piece of Bingen’s working past, anchored right in the middle of town!

IT’S HUCKLEBERRY FESTIVAL WEEKEND IN BINGEN! 💜

The berries are sweet, the music is playing, and Bingen is in full celebration mode! The annual Huckleberry Festival takes over Daubenspeck Park all weekend, September 11–13!
