Throughout our service year, Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs proudly supports 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟵 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲, 𝗦𝘁. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘅𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗’𝗜𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲!

These closets provide students with a dedicated space to access 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 items when they need them, helping them feel 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Keesler Federal Credit Union, whose generous donation makes this project possible! Their continued support allows us to meet the needs of students throughout our community. 💛

At this month’s chapter meeting, our very own Dr. Nelson, The BOSS Educator led our Education Hour with her “Communicate Like a BOSS” workshop!

She shared practical tools for communicating more effectively in our personal and professional lives. 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙬𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙.

Our Education Chair, Brittany McDaniel, reflected on the workshop:

“We all see the world through our 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀, shaped by our experiences and beliefs. 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 requires us to recognize that our perspective 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲. When we make room for different viewpoints, we create opportunities for greater understanding, stronger relationships, and better teamwork.”

This month, our JABOS ladies put together 86 Halloween gift bags filled with 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝘇𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 for the children served by CASA of South Mississippi

A big thank-you to our Life Members for providing the coloring books and fuzzy socks! 🧡

Our JABOS ladies and Crown Club girls had a wonderful time serving at North Bay Night Out! 🎨✨ From face painting to helping little ones get creative, the evening was filled with smiles and community connections.

We love seeing our members serve alongside the next generation of leaders, sharing their time and talents to bring joy to our community!

Thank you, North Bay Elementary for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to serve your children and families! We loved being part of North Bay Night Out! 🧡

Today, we have the pleasure of recognizing a member whose dedication, leadership, and commitment to service truly make a difference in our chapter.

This member consistently goes above and beyond to keep her committee organized, informed, and engaged. Recently, when our chapter was tasked with completing multiple forms and submitting identification for background checks, she handled the process with professionalism, patience, and grace.

What makes her leadership especially remarkable is her ability to inspire others to serve. Our Tomorrow’s Promises events are consistently well attended, and we never struggle to fill volunteer positions. That speaks volumes about her leadership and the commitment she inspires in others.

She leads by example, serves with purpose, and demonstrates the true meaning of servant leadership.
