A Heartfelt Thank You to the Trident Foundation!

GCCFN offers our sincere gratitude to the Trident Foundation for their generous donation to Adrienne’s House and Jane’s House from proceeds of their Big Sam's Birthday & Crawfish Boil event. Aside from the financial donation, their donation also included a large collection of hygiene products, household essentials, lap desks, lights, diapers, and school supplies—items that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the survivors and families we serve every day.

Because of partners like the Trident Foundation, our residents have access to the resources they need to feel safe, supported, and empowered as they work toward a brighter future. Thank you for investing in hope, healing, and new beginnings for families across our community.

✨ CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY FOR LICENSED BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS ✨
Barbers and beauty professionals often serve in one of the most trusted spaces in a client’s life. This CEU training is designed to help cosmetologists and barbers recognize the signs of domestic violence and human trafficking, and understand safe, appropriate ways to respond and refer. This course meets the Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering requirement for continuing education for licensure.

There will be two sessions available, 9am or 2pm. Space is limited so reserve your seat early!

Our Center staff were honored to participate in the 2026 MS Peer Conference in Jackson, MS!

During the conference, Robin Arender (Peer Support Specialist), Kathi Jones (Lived Experience Expert), and Charlotte Arrowsmith (Human Trafficking Program Manager) presented a keynote session focused on peer support strategies for working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Kathi and Charlotte also had the opportunity to lead individual breakout sessions, allowing for deeper discussions on these critical topics.

The conference was an inspiring gathering of professionals and advocates committed to strengthening behavioral health services across Mississippi. It highlighted the power of collaboration, lived experience, and cross-system partnerships in creating meaningful change for the individuals and communities we serve.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our work, learn from others, and contribute to these important conversations!

🌈 Happy Pride Month!

This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals in our community and beyond. Pride is a time to honor diversity, promote inclusion, and reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued.

At our Center, we believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported for who they are. We are proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ community this month and throughout the year.

Wishing everyone a joyful, safe, and empowering Pride Month! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
