Why did we wear denim today? In 1992, the Italian Supreme Court's decision to overturn a r**e conviction based on the victim's clothing was a stark reminder of the need for advocacy. This ruling was a catalyst for a global movement, emphasizing that there is never an excuse for sexual violence. Sexual and domestic violence know no boundaries, impacting individuals from diverse demographics.

As sisters, it is crucial that we shatter the silence, elevate awareness, and support survivors in their journey towards healing. Let us convey a clear message: abuse is unacceptable in our communities. Collectively, we can drive meaningful change.

Williams, with its annual scholarship award during the Mississippi Gulf Coast National Pan Hellenic Council Scholarship Program today. Over $108,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to multiple deserving students along the Gulf Coast. Congratulations to you all.
