Just a friendly reminder that Cheer Fittings will be held this Saturday and Sunday, June 6th and 7th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Locke Middle School.
If this is your athlete's first year in the cheer program, please bring an original certified copy of their birth certificate with a raised seal.

Calling all BPW cheerleaders!

This past week both Shawsheen Tech and BMHS held their scholarship nights.

Each year BPW presents an award that honors two men whose time, energy, and dedication helped shape Billerica Pop Warner into what it is today.
They were the kind of people who showed up — for the kids, for the families, for the program. They gave without expecting anything in return, and their impact still lives in every practice, every game, every cheer, and every young athlete who grows through this organization.

Each year, we remember them by awarding scholarships to graduating seniors who reflect the same dedication both on and off the field/mat. These students carry forward the spirit of commitment, teamwork, and heart that Ed Hayes Sr. and Ed Stuart Sr. embodied so naturally.

To qualify, applicants must:

Be a graduating high school senior

Have participated in Billerica Pop Warner as a player, cheerleader, or junior coach

Meet the academic criteria

Plan to attend an accredited 2‑year or 4‑year college

This scholarship isn’t just about recognizing achievement — it’s about honoring character, community, and the kind of leadership that lasts long after the final whistle and the music ends.

We are proud to continue their legacy through the young people who will shape the future, just as they shaped ours.

Please help us congratulate this year's recipients. We are proud of all you accomplished while with BPW, in your HS careers and cannot wait to see what the future holds. We know you will all carry the same heart, strength and dedication with you in all chapters of your lives.

To kick off our brand new program we're hosting a Flag Football Clinic for Girls ages 9-12. This clinic is a great opportunity for girls to learn the fundamentals of flag football, build confidence, stay active, and have fun while getting introduced to our brand-new league. Anyone who signs up for the clinic will also receive a priority window to register for the season!

Just a reminder to everyone who is out there volunteering and working to make Youth Sports programs the best they can be...we're not always going to get everything right. But it's the time and effort that matter.

But if the multi-billion $ NFL can screw this up, and give a defensive player of the year trophy to the offensive player of the year, we can cut ourselves some slack.
