Big milestone for us… and a meaningful one for our dancers and community.

The Youth Dance Theater of Greater Chicago (YDTGC) has officially been recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

This designation affirms our mission to create original, meaningful youth dance theater—and opens the door for new opportunities, partnerships, and support.

What this means:
• Donations to YDTGC are now tax-deductible
• We can pursue grants and expanded programming
• We can continue growing access to high-quality, original dance experiences for young artists

Thank you to everyone who has supported this work and believed in what we’re building. This is just the beginning.
