There’s something about a cool, misty spring morning in Harpers Ferry that just pulls you in—and yesterday’s walking tour organized by Shenandoah Riverkeeper Mark Frondorf absolutely delivered.

We had the incredible privilege of exploring the town with David Fox, who served for 30 years as the interpretive ranger at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. He brought the history of Harpers Ferry to life in a way that was both engaging and unforgettable. From the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers to the rich cultural and natural stories woven throughout this place, it was a powerful reminder of just how special this landscape truly is.

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and made it such a wonderful experience. What was planned as a one-time event may have to make a return—because it was just that memorable.
