We had a wonderful meeting last night. Very productive, so much so that we never got to the planned program! Rescheduling that for another month, unless we do it at the retreat.

Kudos to our members, the other host club members and combined community family of volunteers and to the public at large for attending & resulting in another successful quilt show!

Here’s what we achieved at our meeting: Recapped the quilt show, planned programs through rest of the year. Selected topics for two workshops that will be scheduled later this year (on a Sat) and both selected and booked a retreat for Oct!

January 12 and February 9 meetings will be open sewing after a brief business review. With everyone working towards the April quilt show and boutique items there’s plenty to keep busy. Bring your gear and projects to work on (remember an extension cord if you need power).

Everyone’s encouraged to bring along their scraps or other fabrics they’ve fallen out-of-love with to swap, gift or use for scrap projects.

Ondrea will review a group block project that everyone can work towards for our charity quilts.

Eileen will demonstrate a scrap project technique she admired from another’s post to all interested.
