The fall fun has just begun!!!

No child should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from when the school bell rings for the weekend. At Backpacks for Berrien, we work hard to fill that gap—but we can’t do it without you. 🎒❤️

We are looking for a kind heart to join our team as a volunteer delivery driver.

This simple task makes a massive impact. All it takes is less than one hour of your time, once every 4 to 6 weeks.

What you’ll be doing:

• 🛻 Pick up totes filled with packed weekend meal bags from our storage.

• 🏫 Deliver them to our local public schools to ensure students head into the weekend nourished. ☘️

• 📦 Return the empty totes back to our storage area.

It’s a small block of time out of your month, but to a hungry child, it means everything. Help us deliver hope, one school at a time. 🌟

👉 Interested in helping? Send us a DM or drop a comment below, and we will get you all the details!

Proudly serving 92 students weekend meals this week! 🎒💚
Hunger doesn’t take a break on the weekends, but thanks to our incredible community, neither do we. Every bag we pack is filled with love and care, ensuring our local kids have the food they need to thrive.
Did you know that it costs just $10 on average to provide a child with weekend meals? Your support truly changes lives.

This week, 87 local students went home with food for the weekend. 💚🎒

That number represents 87 kids in our community who have a little less to worry about and a little more to count on.

We couldn’t do this without the incredible support of our donors, volunteers, local businesses, and everyone who continues to believe in the mission of Backpacks for Berrien.

87 students. One community showing up for its kids.

Thank you, Berrien Springs! 💚
