Please join us for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony as the Mobile Museums of Tolerance debuts its newest traveling exhibit, We the People of Illinois, at the Bensenville Community Public Library

We the People of Illinois explores stories of community, shared histories of prejudice, and the fight for equality throughout Illinois' diverse history. Visitors will come away with a deeper understanding of how these histories continue to shape contemporary conversations about justice and tolerance.

This exhibit will be on view at the library until July 31 before continuing its tour to communities across Illinois.

Thank you, Illinois Department of Human Rights, for your support and helping us bring this powerful exhibit to life.

Turn an old book into a one-of-a-kind work of art! At this month's first Altered Book Club meet, we'll be creating a unique journal using recycled book pages and mixed media materials, following along with Faith Hale from Creativebug.

📖 Meeting Dates:
• June 25 at 7 PM
• July 30 at 7 PM
• August 27 at 7 PM

As you continue working on your journal throughout the summer, you'll have the opportunity to share your journal journey with fellow participants and reflect on how the project has inspired and impacted you along the way.

This program is for adults ages 18 and older.

Some events require registration, and spots may fill quickly. We recommend reserving your place for any programs you’d like to attend soon.

A friendly reminder that our Summer Reading Kick-Off is happening on Friday, June 5th at 5:00 PM. Miss Jamie's Farm will be with us to sing and dance some fun barn tunes, and Fischer Farm will bring some very cute animals for everyone to pet! We’ll also have crafts and the opportunity to sign up for Summer Reading if you haven’t registered yet when sign-ups begin June 1.

A few pictures from Pokémon Club last Friday. Regulars Mateo and Draven battled each other for a Charizard statuette; Mateo won by one point!

We have two more Pokémon Club meets this month on May 22 & 29 at 3:30 PM, we hope to see you there!
