The Bensenville Wood Dale Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, July 4th. Our hours will be adjusted on that day to 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The Village of Bensenville 4th of July Parade in downtown Bensenville will be staging on Center Street starting at 9:00 AM. Please come early to the pantry and take the the time later to enjoy the day's festivities!

The Bensenville Wood Dale Food Pantry is so grateful for the community support of our fundraising bingo yesterday at the VFW Post in Wood Dale. Many thanks to Dave and Barb for providing the space, supplies and bingo caller. We appreciated the local support for our raffles including Village of Bensenville, Muggs-N-Manor, Mama Maria's Pizzeria, Jentle Acupuncture, Nuova Italian Restaurant, De Campana, CAM Integrated Health, Manny;s Ale House, Buon Johnny's, Lisa Marie and Honey Bee Kind.

The day would not have possible without all the efforts of our volunteers - including our adorable future volunteers. Thanks to all!

Thank you to the National Association of Letter Carriers and other employees of the US Postal Service for generously collecting donated goods during the May 9 Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Each year since 1993, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries.

Our pickup from both Bensenville and Wood Dale post offices totaled approximately 1,000 pounds!!!

Most importantly, thank you to our loving neighbors in the City of Wood Dale and Village of Bensenville for setting aside extra food to support those in our community who experience food insecurity. Every bag, every can, every box of cereal matters to someone in need.
