❤️ Have a heart. Donate a cart! 🛒

For families without reliable transportation, getting groceries home can be a real challenge. A portable cart can make a meaningful difference—helping families transport groceries and other larger items home from the food pantry or grocery store. The Bensenville Youth Coalition is raising funds to purchase carts for families who need them. Every donation, large or small, helps!

Friends in Illinois - please take a few minutes today or tomorrow to take this survey about food waste - it really gets you thinking about how your household is using/wasting food - Please share the survey with others in Illinois. The survey closes Aug 13th.
About the Survey
Research shows that one-third of the U.S. food supply was not purchased or eaten in 2023. Some of that surplus food is donated or recycled, but most becomes food waste that ends up in a landfill, releasing methane, a potent greenhouse gas.
This 10-minute survey is open to Illinois adults who are regularly involved in household food shopping, cooking, meal planning, or kitchen cleanup. Responses will help guide future food waste prevention efforts that support cost savings, stronger communities, and a healthier environment.
Take and share the survey at go.illinois.edu/FoodWasteSurvey.
