Bennington Community Foundation The Bennington Community Foundation is a tax-exempt, public foundation in Bennington, Nebraska. And so the Bennington Community Foundation was born.

We are working to build a better Bennington by engaging donors, nonprofit organizations and community partners in meaningful and purposeful ways. In 2005, a group of passionate community members came together to explore ways to sustain Bennington's small town character and charm while also promoting growth and opportunity. Since then, the Foundation has been spearheading community events and drivi

ng civic improvements. While our community has changed dramatically over the past 17 years, our mission remains the same: to build a better Bennington. We do this by inspiring giving, making impactful investments in local causes and organizations, and providing strategic leadership on community projects.

🚨 BIG NEWS for Community Health & Safety! 🚨

The Bennington Community Foundation is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to help bring PulsePoint Respond to Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington Counties — including Bennington.

💓 Why it matters:
Every second counts when someone suffers sudden cardiac arrest. PulsePoint Respond is a powerful app that connects CPR-trained bystanders to nearby emergencies in real time, giving victims a fighting chance before EMS arrives.

🧠 Here's how it works:
When 911 dispatches a cardiac arrest call in a public location, PulsePoint alerts app users nearby who can start CPR or locate and use a nearby AED (Automated External Defibrillator) — potentially saving lives before professional help arrives.

🎯 Our shared goal:
“To improve the outcomes of patients suffering from sudden cardiac arrest in our communities.”
PulsePoint is a critical part of that mission — helping to improve survival rates through rapid, crowd-sourced response.
