We want to give a very big THANK YOU to these two exceptional ladies, Brooke & Leigh, for running our Gift Card Tree Fundraiser today at the Farmer’s Market!! They did a fantastic job!! Our club is so lucky to have them!!🎉

Thank you to all the amazing people who purchased a gift card from our gift card tree!! You truly made a difference and that, in turn, makes a difference for our community!!🤩

Thank you to those that showed interest in joining our wonderful Woman’s Club!! We would absolutely LOVE to have new members!! We will be putting information up and will create an event on here with information about our next meeting for those who want to come see what we are all about!! Summer Food Bag pick-up starts TODAY!

If your family signed up through the Bennington Public Schools Foundation, we are ready for you! Please pick up your food bag between 3–6 PM today at:

Bennington Community Food Pantry
St. John’s Lutheran Church
(Lower Level – West Entrance)

Bennington, NE 68007

When you check in, just let us know you’re picking up your Summer Food Bag and we’ll help you load up!

Additional pantry shopping is also available during open hours. We are excited to support your family this summer!

Special thank you to these amazing donors for stepping up to quickly raise $5,508 for our new Summer Food Program initiative with Bennington Food Pantry and Bennington Women's Club. 🙌

Once again we are blown away by the swift generosity of our community for our students!

Although we may have reached our initial fundraising goal, you can still give to this fund to support additional students who may sign up over the summer months AND ensure the sustainability for the program to continue into future summers.

Bennington artists brought home major honors this spring at the district and state art competitions hosted by the Woman's Club! 🎨🏆

The annual community art show received a record 63 entries this year from Bennington, with 38 ribbon-winning pieces advancing from districts, including 19 first-place finishes and two Best in Show awards. Art was displayed at the Bennington Bennington Public Library & Community Conference Center in conjunction with the Bennington Woman's Club.

A special congratulations to Khyaati Misra, whose ladybug painting earned Best in Show at districts and later took 1st place at state, and to Maeta Andersen for also earning Best in Show honors at districts!

When school is out for summer, many families lose that reliable source of breakfast and lunch.

This summer, more than 50 students in our Bennington school community have been identified as needing additional food support while school is not in session.

To help meet this need, the Bennington Public Schools Foundation, Bennington Community Food Pantry, and Bennington Women’s Club are partnering to provide FREE summer meal support for student families.

Each week from May 27 through August 5, participating students will receive meal bags containing 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals.

💛 Just $20 provides meals for ONE student for ONE week.
💛 $220 feeds ONE student for the entire summer.

We are currently working to raise the remaining $5,508 needed to fully fund this initiative before summer begins.

We are so proud and blessed to be part of such an amazing community!! Bennington residents really do step up for one another!!
We saw this post today and thought we would share it. The pantry can always use our continued support.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your donations make a difference — they do. They absolutely do!

Today at lunch, I stopped up to the pantry to restock fresh items for our upcoming open hours. Generally no one is there, and I’m in and out pretty quickly.

But today, we welcomed three new visitors to the pantry — families who had never needed a pantry before.

They left speechless, with thankful tears in their eyes. I left with a reminder of just how much this community matters to so many. ❤️

So thank you. Thank you for always stepping up when we ask. Thank you for donating, volunteering, sharing posts, and making sure our shelves stay stocked for neighbors who need a little extra support.
