🚨NEW MATCH ALERT🚨

Meet Bryson and Gary!

Introduced TODAY! Bryson self nominated to TeamMates because his two best friends are mentees and wanted him to join in on the FUN! Gary and Bryson both have a favorite subject of Math and a love for technology and gaming. Bryson is described as outgoing, energetic and competitive. Gary is described as open minded, curious and confident... he also leads with Relater and Learner strengths- such complementary attributes! They both look forward to meaningful discussion and dialogue, having FUN and lots of chess!

We are excited to see Bryson and Gary have fun together this school year and beyond.

Last Thursday we attended The Power Conference with Greater Omaha Chamber! It was a day full of wonderful connections, collaboration and conversations! Lots of great takeaways for how we can show up for others and ourselves! Our favorite takeaway was this quote by Candace Gould of 100 Omaha Inc. and we can directly apply it to what we do.

“WHO or what could be different because I said ‘yes’?”.

We know that this was intended for us to say ‘yes’ to ourselves when taking the first step into something new and unlocking our own potential, but what if you’ve been thinking about becoming a Mentor? You can bring your strengths, talents and time, say ‘yes’ to a student and just when you think you’ve impacted them, BOOM! They’ve impacted you too. 🤯💙

If you think Mentoring is for you, say YES!

[Friday Faces of Bennington TeamMates]
What a difference a year makes...

Jaksen, Allan and Huxton are quite the trio. Best friends who happily share a Mentor. They don’t always meet all together, but when they do, there is a photo recreation. 😂 Pretty soon these boys will be taller than their Mentor. We can’t wait to see next year’s pic! 💙

Hey, Mentors!
Reminder: NO SCHOOL for BPS next Thursday and Friday! Please plan your next week’s meetings accordingly.

10/06/2026

We had a FULL house for Bennington NE Chamber of Commerce Coffee, Carbs and Convo. Four AMAZING Mentors and local business professionals shared their stories of impact with Bennington TeamMates!💙

Thank you, Kerry, Felicia, Blake and RJ!!🤗

🚨New Match Alert🚨

Meet Kim and Alyssa! Introduced earlier this month. Matched based on favorite subjects of: Family Consumer Sciences and PE. Both enjoy Sports and Food! Kim and Alyssa are both described as outgoing, compassionate and adventurous. They look forward to doing crafts and activities, meaningful discussion and dialogue and HAVING FUN!

Another handpicked mentoring recruit! When Alyssa was nominated by a thoughtful teacher, we knew all of her personal attributes could be pretty perfectly matched by an already active member in our community. All it took was one ask and a servant heart filled with purpose. Kim said YES! and we couldn't wait to make their introduction.

Welcome to the Team, Kim and Alyssa!! We're so glad you are here.🫶

🚨NEW MATCH ALERT🚨

Meet Kelly and Amelia!
Introduced last week and matched based on their love for sports and doing crafts. These two are ready for meaningful discussion, goal setting and having FUN! Amelia's mom is one of our dedicated Mentors and Amelia has been SO excited to have a Mentor of her very own. Kelly was handpicked for Amelia because we already knew they were so much alike... kind, thoughtful, a little more reserved and big fans of Badger Athletics! We can't wait to see this match grow together!

Welcome to the Team, Kelly and Amelia!💙
