Guiding Eyes Southern VT Puppy Raising Region Located in Bennington, Vermont and the surrounding communities, we are a group of dedicated puppy raisers and sitters for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Guiding Eyes is dedicated to enriching the lives of blind and visually impaired men and women by providing them with the freedom to travel safely, thereby assuring greater independence, dignity and new horizons of opportunity. Watch our journey as we learn and grow with these beautiful puppies.

GEB sitter Dawn reported that Pretzel was PERFECT in the car during their adventures together, including visits to Walmart, the Dollar Store, a plant shop, and a walk around the Plaza. Thank you to our devoted GEB sitter community!
Dawn recently sat for Pretzel and took her on a fun Vermont field trip to the Rutland Free Library’s monthly book sale. Dawn reported that Pretzel was spectacularly good—well-behaved, patient, and happy to greet people along the way.
We’re so grateful to Dawn and all of our wonderful sitters for giving our dogs such great experiences out in the community.
