Tuesday, author Clay Young was the speaker at the Rotary Club of Bennettsville. Young told about the making of his book “The Courthouses of South Carolina.” The Rotarians purchased a copy and presented it to the Marian Wright Edelman Public Library. 🌿 Rotary Club of Marlboro Launches New Scholarship at NETC! 🌿

The Rotary Club of Marlboro has established an annual scholarship fund at Northeastern Technical College to support students from Marlboro County 🌿 This partnership reflects Rotary’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities and strengthening the local workforce 🌿

Chad Vick, NETC Chief Development Officer, met with Rotary leadership to formalize the scholarship and outline plans for recurring support 🌿 “We are incredibly grateful for the Rotary Club of Marlboro and their investment in our students,” Vick said 🌿

This scholarship will help reduce financial barriers and empower Marlboro County students to pursue higher education while serving as a model for community partnerships that invest in student success 🌿
