As I sit here reflecting on our unhoused neighbors, I am inspired by the unbreakable human spirit.

The snow falling outside highlights the power of collective action. Having experienced homelessness, I am dedicated to continuing my work to empower these remarkable individuals.

Will you join me in uplifting our community by donating at least $10 to our organization, helping us provide vital essentials like gloves, toboggans, socks, and blankets?

As the Holiday Season is approaching , This Thanksgiving, Simply Blessed Strong Survivors is preparing to bless 500 families with a free hot meal as part of our annual Community Outreach Project.

Families are invited to sit down, eat, play games, and connect — or take a plate to go. We’ll be serving the unhoused, veterans, elderly, and underserved families in our community, but everyone is welcome.
No one should feel forgotten during the holidays.

We’ll also be distributing care packets for our unhoused neighbors.

How You Can Help:

DONATE – Every gift, large or small, helps provide meals, care packets, and hope.

VOLUNTEER – Join us to prepare, serve, and share love this holiday season.

SPONSOR – Churches, businesses, and organizations can partner with us to expand our reach and impact.
Together, we can give more than just a meal —
we can give hope, dignity, and a reason to be thankful.

Simply Blessed Strong Survivors is a registered charitable, tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
All donations are tax-deductible and go directly toward supporting families in need.

With a heartwarming update!

Simply Blessed Strong Survivors had the privilege of honoring three remarkable mothers in the PeeDee area for Mother’s Day 2025.

We celebrate Ms. Ona Gaddy, 102, from Lakeview, S.C., Ms. Flossie Ford, 101, from Dillon, S.C., and Ms. Annie David, who will be 99 on the twentieth of this month from Bennettsville, S.C.

Each of these incredible women inspired me deeply, sharing stories, laughter, asking questions, and singing songs that touched my heart. By showing them genuine love and care, I felt grateful to make a difference in their lives.

Having lost my mom almost 10 years ago, I understand the importance of celebrating mothers. Every year, I will continue to spread love and appreciation to mothers everywhere, ensuring they feel valued and cherished by our communities.
