BYBSA families,

We know there have been questions and concerns about player evaluations and what that may mean for teams moving forward.

BYBSA is working to improve our player evaluation process so we can better support player development, assist coaches, and create a positive experience for all players and families.

To be clear, the current focus is not on breaking up established teams or disrupting the relationships and culture that make our league special. Existing team relationships still matter.

Player evaluations are being developed as a tool to help us better understand skill levels, support newer coaches, place new players or players needing teams more intentionally, and help create more balanced and enjoyable games where possible.

More details will be shared as the board continues working through the process. Our goal is to move thoughtfully, communicate clearly, and make decisions that support the kids, families, coaches, and long-term health of BYBSA.

The schedule has been updated to reflect the missed games from last night.

This is assuming fields will be playable tonight but will receive an update regarding field status from city by 3 PM.

All games are canceled for this evening and we will work on rescheduling tonight’s games by tomorrow morning.

Roy Woolsey Update as of 1734:

The 1800 games are cancelled and will be rescheduled.

The 1930 games as of now are still on but will have a final decision made by 1845.
