🎄 REMEMBER ⭐ HONOR ⭐ TEACH 🎄

This December, the VFW Benbrook Memorial Post 10429 is once again joining National Wreaths Across America Day and we need your help to honor our local heroes.

🗓️ Saturday, December 19, 2026 11:00 AM
📍 Benbrook Cemetery

On that morning, volunteers across the country will place a wreath on the grave of every veteran they can reach. Each one is laid by hand. Each veteran's name is spoken out loud. That is the whole point, a veteran dies twice, once when they leave this earth and again the last time their name is said.

We want every veteran resting at Benbrook Cemetery to be remembered that day. Here are two ways you can help.

🎄 SPONSOR A WREATH
A sponsorship covers a wreath placed on a veteran's grave right here in Benbrook. You can sponsor one, or several, and you don't have to be a member of anything to do it.

🙋 VOLUNTEER ON DECEMBER 19
Come help us lay the wreaths. Bring your kids, bring your grandkids. Walking those rows and reading those names teaches young people something about service that no classroom can.

🔗 Sponsor online: www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/TX1453P
(Or scan the QR code on the flyer.)

December will be here before you know it, and wreaths have to be ordered well in advance. If you've been meaning to do something for our veterans, this is it.

Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom. 🇺🇸
