💙 Congratulations to Blue Family Fund Scholarship Recipient Macy Shaw! 💙

Macy is a dedicated student-athlete, entrepreneur, and leader. As a varsity softball player, she helped lead her team to back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time in 15 years and earned District 13-4A Honorable Mention recognition in 2024.

Off the field, Macy founded and successfully grew her own pet-sitting business, building a loyal client base through hard work, reliability, and exceptional care.

We are proud to support students like Macy who demonstrate determination, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Congratulations, Macy, and best wishes on your bright future! 🎓✨

Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms, safety, and moments we often take for granted. Today, we honor their courage, remember their legacy, and keep their families in our prayers.

We are proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipient, Aidan Meltabarger, whose dedication, character, and heart for serving others truly stood out.

As the son of a Dallas Police Department officer, Aidan has grown up with a deep understanding of sacrifice, responsibility, and service to the community. Through his application, he shared powerful reflections on what it means to support a parent who serves and protects others each day — lessons that have helped shape his values, work ethic, and future goals.

Aidan has been actively involved in Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track & Field, while also serving faithfully through Children’s Church and community outreach events including Fall Harvest and Easter Egg Hunts. He will be pursuing a Business degree in Marketing as he begins this next chapter of his journey.

We are honored to recognize Aidan for his leadership, perseverance, and commitment to making a positive impact both in his community and beyond. Congratulations, Aidan — we cannot wait to see what your future holds!
