Incredible News from the Dominican Republic!
We are excited to share some incredible news about what God is doing through World Bible Way Fellowship in the Dominican Republic!
A Permanent Home in Consuelo
World Bible Way Fellowship has officially acquired our primary ministry building in Consuelo, Dominican Republic!
This property will serve as a permanent regional hub for our ministry, supporting our satellite churches, pastors, outreach efforts, and community programs for years to come. The deed transfer is being finalized during our August 27–31 visit, marking an important step toward establishing a lasting ministry presence in the region.
Las Pajas Is Growing!
Our congregation in Las Pajas has outgrown its current meeting space! We have located a new property that will accommodate up to 300 people, giving this growing church room to worship, minister, and reach even more people in its community.
What makes this even more exciting is that the local congregation has already raised nearly one-third of the funds needed for the property. Their sacrifice and commitment demonstrate how deeply they believe in what God is doing.
We are now working to raise the additional funds necessary to complete the purchase of these properties and help establish permanent places of ministry.
A New Church Is Being Born
We are also celebrating the birth of a new church in West Consuelo!
What began just one year ago as a small prayer group meeting under what we would consider little more than a carport has grown into a new congregation. Through this ministry, more than two dozen people have come to salvation, creating an immediate need for continued discipleship, pastoral care, and a permanent church family.
There is still much work ahead, but seeing this congregation come to life reminds us why this mission matters.
Reaching the Next Generation
Our children's outreach was another highlight this summer. We recently completed a month-long Vacation Bible School that served nearly 50 children.
Three days each week, these children received hot meals along with meaningful biblical teaching. More than simply hosting a children's program, VBS allowed us to build relationships with children and families throughout the local Haitian refugee communities.
Every meal served and every lesson taught represents another opportunity to demonstrate the love of Jesus and build relationships that can have an eternal impact.
Creating Sustainable Community Impact
The impact continues beyond our church services.
The sausage deli we previously established has successfully grown into a full-service grocery store, providing essential goods to the neighborhood while also creating much-needed local employment.
Our digital livestream ministry continues to expand as well, allowing the Gospel and biblical teaching to reach people beyond the walls of our churches.
We are also making steady progress toward the legal registration of World Bible Way Fellowship in the Dominican Republic, as well as securing residency status for Pastor Chancey. These important steps will provide greater stability and help establish the ministry for generations to come.
Thank You for Helping Us Build Something That Lasts
From permanent church buildings and new congregations to children's ministry, jobs, food, discipleship, and community outreach, we can see the fruit of your prayers and generosity everywhere we look.
But there is still more to do.
As these congregations continue to grow, we are believing God for the resources needed to secure these properties and continue expanding the work throughout the Dominican Republic.
When you give, you aren't simply helping purchase a building—you are helping establish places where people can hear the Gospel, families can be served, believers can be discipled, and future generations can encounter Jesus.
Thank you for praying, giving, and standing with World Bible Way Fellowship as we continue taking the Gospel to communities in the Dominican Republic.
The work is growing. Lives are being changed. Churches are being established. And we believe the best is still ahead.
