The Reno Parks and Trail Committee would like to thank everyone for joining us at Reno's Christmas in the Park event. We had so many wonderful people who helped make this a HUGE success. Thank you, Lamar National Bank of Reno for the SNOW! It made the event so special and the families loved it! Thanks to our Mayor, Bart Jetton, Mayor Pro Tem Joey McCarthy, and the Reno City Council, the Reno Police Department and Reno Fire Department for a wonderful festival. Thanks to all of our amazing vendors who joined us as well as Sing, Paris, the Paris Cloggers, BK Moody and Big Kountry Productions, as well as Fancy Thompson for the amazing face painting, Prairiland's Project Grad and Chisum Teens in the Drivers Seat and Stephen Red Holmes aka Santa. We would also like to thank Tricia Smith, the interim City Secretary of Reno for hosting the games section for the children and all of her hard work in preparations, and Jerry Reavis, Courtney Hill, Becky Malone and all of the Reno Public Works Department for helping in the preparations and success of the event. It was an incredible day and we look forward to seeing you all at our future events!

Our Christmas in the Park event is coming up quickly!! Here is our schedule of events throughout this fun-filled day! This event is free to the public. *We will be accepting new, unwrapped toys for the Child Advocacy Center throughout the day, as well.*

December 16th at Reno Kiwanis Park

12pm-The festival begins! We will have live music throughout the day, amazing vendors, as well as treats, hot chocolate, coffee, and various activities including face painting, arts and crafts! Taco City will also be set up with amazing food for purchase.

3pm-The Snow Party begins, brought to you by the Reno Parks and Trail Committee and Lamar National Bank of Reno! We will also have special performances by the Paris Cloggers and Sing, Paris!

4pm-Santa arrives!!!! We will also be holding an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest as well as a Best Christmas Costume contest!

5pm-The Lamar County Adopt A Cop raffle drawing will be held. (Tickets will be sold at this event until time of the drawing). For more information please see their FB page https://www.facebook.com/lcadoptacop/ Winners will also be chosen for the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest and the Best Christmas Costume contest.

6pm-We will conclude our event and turn on our beautiful Candy Cane Lane Christmas display.

Please join us for this fun-filled event! To show our appreciation to our community, the Reno Parks and Trail Committee and Lamar National Bank in Reno are bringing in REAL SNOW for this event! Bring the family out to play in the snow, listen to beautiful Christmas carols, shop for Christmas gifts, enjoy treats, see the Paris Cloggers perform, and much, much more! PLUS SANTA WILL BE JOINING US AT 4PM! The Lamar County Adopt A Cop raffle drawing will be held at this event at 5pm, as well. We still have a few more vendor spots open. Contact us today!
