Christopher’s Kitchen hosted an Easter meal on Sunday with the help of The Ultimate Pastry Shop! Wishing all of our pantries a Happy Easter! 🐰

The Easter Bunny visited Christopher’s Kitchen! 🐣🐰 Founder Joan “Joni” D’Alessandro made Easter Baskets for the different unit pantries that we serve at Children’s Hospital and McGee Women’s Hospital.

We know it's been a little quiet around here... but behind the scenes, it's been anything but.

Over the past few months, we've been focused where it matters most - stocking hospital pantries, preparing meals, and making sure families caring for sick children have one less thing to worry about. Every snack, every stocked shelf, every warm meal is a reminder that no family should have to navigate hardship alone.

Thank you for being part of this mission, even when we're not posting. Your support is still reaching families every single day.

Shout to the Stouts! The Stout Family has been instrumental to Christopher’s Kitchen’s mission of serving families.

They facilitate a school food drive every year and do a Christmas and Thanksgiving food drive with their family.

We are so grateful to them and their help. ❤️🍴

Take a look inside our pantry at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital! It is located right on patient floors. These can be accessed any day, any time, whenever there’s a need. This food feeds families, parents, and caregivers of hospitalized children. 🍴❤️

Every two weeks, Christopher’s Kitchen prepares and delivers 85 special snack bags to hospitals — thoughtfully created to address the unique needs of families with hospitalized children. These bags provide comfort and nourishment for parents, caregivers, and siblings, especially on highly contagious or high-risk floors where families can’t leave their child’s side.

In certain cases, staying close helps protect vulnerable babies and children from the exposure to germs, making these bags even more essential. When the cafeteria is closed or a break isn’t possible, these snacks offer care, comfort, and strength right when it’s needed most. 🍴❤️

🛒🍴❤️ Another shopping trip complete for Christopher’s Kitchen! Every two weeks, we restock our hospital pantries and prepare 85 meal bags to support families caring for hospitalized children.

These pantries will soon be empty, but the hearts we reach are full, and we’ll be right back to stocking! ❤️
