Good news - we found them. 🦸‍♂️

On Father’s Day Weekend, the heroes are trading capes for New Balances and stepping up to the challenge at Dad-Cathalon! 💪🏆

Growth is always worth celebrating...especially at a botanical garden. 🌿

A few weeks back we hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Growing Center, our hub for all things horticulture at Stowe. Over the past year and a half, we’ve made significant improvements to the Growing Center, most notably the restoration and opening of our greenhouses and nurseries that allow us to grow and care for even more plants.

This has also helped launch our Native Nursery and Seedbank, an initiative growing a vibrant collection of Piedmont plants that connect our gardens to the natural heritage of the Carolinas. 🪴

Outside of the Growing Center, we’re also eager to begin a major Soil Restoration Project in the Williamson Conservatory, which will help address and fix current low soil levels and sustain new and exciting tropical plants in the future. 🌺

In attendance were several organizations who helped make these renovations possible, including:

Introducing our Summer Date Night Series - because some evenings are just too good to spend anywhere else. 🌿🎶

All summer long, we’re bringing you live music, themed evenings and unforgettable experiences set right here among The Gardens at Daniel Stowe Conservancy.
