Did you know that 60% of students in underserved homes don't have a single book to call their own? We started Giving Tree Books in 2023 because we wanted to change that! 🥰

"Two Little Kittens" tells the story of two lost, orphaned kittens found in the woods and brought to a local animal shelter. Based on the story of OUR two kittens that Steve and I rescued in 2024, this endearing tale of love between the kittens and their new adopted mom is sure to warm your heart! 💜 Alicia Padron did a wonderful job of bringing their story to life with her beautiful illustrations! ✨

We wrote this book to focus on Early Childhood Literacy and are excited about the possibility of donating books to the Children's Healing Center and many preschools & elementary schools in the West Michigan area! 📚

To raise funds and meet our goal of donating 5,000 books this year, we are taking pre-orders. We anticipate orders will be filled by late May! 🐾 Order your copy today to read to the young child in your life!

We had an amazing time at our Storytime event at our Kentwood Branch in Grand Rapids! 📚

Local author Nancy Devon brought Tasha’s adventures to life, and we loved seeing so many young readers’ imaginations soar. Each child received a signed copy of their very own book to take home and continue the adventure!
